Mpumalanga includes both the lowveld and the highveld, with the Klein Drakensberg Escarpment in between.

On the lowveld is the world renowned Kruger National Park, which is bordered by many private game reserves. Apart from the many game viewing in the national and private parks there is also plenty for the visitor to do in the region.

Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park safari, MpumalangaSpreading over an area of nearly 2 million hectare, the Kruger National Park contains a large variety of wildlife including rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and giraffe. There are several rest camps in the Park and most camps have restaurants and shops

Private Game Reserves

Private Game Reserves, MpumalangaThere are several private reserves situated on the west and south side of the Park and they offer luxury accommodation with day and night game drives taken in open vehicles (mostly land rovers). They are independently owned and cater for a limited number of guests at a time in order to offer personalized attention at all times. Besides the game reserves, this region has several other attractions to offer, including the Blyde River canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window to name a few.
